Bihar Voluntary Health Association - SRHR Alliance
Service: Research & Studies
Development Solutions undertook an evaluation of ‘Integrated response to reduce prevalence of child marriage’ program. The evaluation assessed changes in the organisational capacity of 50 NGOs/CSOs across 3 states – Bihar, Jharkhand, and Odisha. Structured questionnaires were administered to individuals of each organisation to assess Knowledge, Attitude, and Practices (KAP) on Child Marriage and SRHR, at the baseline and end-line. Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) were undertaken to gather more in-depth information on the work/interventions of organisations; challenges that organisations face while working on issues of child marriage and SRHR, and capacity building needs. The recommendations are expected to support the development of the capacity building plan for the project.
