Central Square Foundation, in association with UNICEF, implemented School Transition Program for students in grade 1, aimed at improving foundational learning – cognitive, pre-literacy and pre-numeracy skills. Development Solutions used a cluster randomized trial method to measure learning outcomes among students in a baseline and an end-line survey in intervention and control schools in two districts in Gujarat. A total of 560 students are expected to be sampled. It is expected that the findings would help advocate with the Government.
