The Contraceptive Social Marketing (CSM) program by Government of India (GOI) makes contraceptive products available to the population at highly subsidised rates, through diverse outlets operated by Social Marketing Organizations (SMOs). Development Solutions assessed the program to understand the market trends, identify gaps in implementation, and suggest potential solution pathways. To deliver this, the study adopted a qualitative methodology and aggregated inputs from both macro level and micro level stakeholders of the CSM program ecosystem.
